ANALISIS STAKEHOLDER DALAM MENDUKUNG PEMANFAATAN LAHAN SISTEM AGROFORESTRI KOMODITAS ALPUKAT DESA GIRI MULYO, LAMPUNG TIMUR

Abstract

The conversion of protected forest land into seasonal agricultural land in Giri Mulyo Village, East Lampung Regency, has the potential to reduce ecosystem functions and trigger various environmental problems. As a solution, an avocado agroforestry system was introduced through a forest and land rehabilitation program by BPDAS Way Seputih Way Sekampung in 2020. This system is considered capable of increasing farmers' income while maintaining the ecological function of the forest. The purpose of this study was to determine the role of stakeholders in supporting the land use of avocado commodity agroforestry systems in Giri Mulyo Village, East Lampung in restoring the function of Register 38 land to be able to become an example for other villages located in the register area in Lampung Province. The research approach used is a deductive approach using qualitative descriptive analysis techniques and stakeholder analysis. The results showed that stakeholders were divided into three categories, namely primary, secondary and key. Their roles are grouped into policy makers, coordinators, facilitators, implementers and accelerators. The level of importance and power of stakeholders is influenced by their involvement in agroforestry activities, ownership of access to resources, and influence on decision-making. The success of agroforestry systems is highly dependent on collaboration between those with direct interests and those with legal authority. Continued support from the government is needed in planning market development and post-harvest infrastructure, as well as the involvement of the private sector in the form of investment, innovation of processed products, and partnerships with farmers to support the sustainability of agroforestry systems in protected forest areas.
