PENGARUH GAYA KEPEMIMPINAN TERHADAP KINERJA PEGAWAI PADA BAGIAN PEREKONOMIAN SEKRETARIAT KABUPATEN KUTAI TIMUR

Abstract


This research is based on leadership style, where the relationship between employee performance and leadership style of a Leader influential in achieving the goals of an organization. Forms of leadership style applied in an organization may affect the performance of each employee.

The purpose of this research is to find out the leadership style contained in Economic Section of Regional Secretariat of East Kutai Regency, and to know the performance of employees at Public Work Department of East Kutai Regency and to know the influence of leadership style on employee performance at Economic Section of Regional Secretariat of East Kutai Regency.

From the results of research conducted, the authors concluded several things namely: Leaders In Economic Section Regional Secretariat East Kutai Regency is more dominant in the style of leadership autocracy. Partially leadership type autocracy has a positive influence and has a significant effect on employee performance. Then the style of leadership has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. This means that leadership style has an impact on employee performance improvement.

Thus, this research helps the head / office in understanding what are the things that can improve the performance of the employees in the Economic Section of the Regional Secretariat of East Kutai Regency.
