PERAN STRATEGIS LEMBAGA PENJAMINAN MUTU DALAM MENINGKATKAN MUTU PENDIDIKAN TINGGI DI INDONESIA
Abstract
The Quality Assurance Agency (LPM) plays a strategic role in improving the quality of higher education through the implementation of the Internal Quality Assurance System (SPMI). This study aims to examine the main functions of LPM in developing a quality culture, managing the PPEPP (Establishment, Implementation, Evaluation, Control, and Improvement) cycle, and strengthening academic service quality. The method used is literature review with secondary data from national and international journals. The findings indicate that LPM acts as a catalyst for continuous improvement by implementing quality standards based on Permendikbudristek No. 53 of 2023. The conclusion highlights that strengthening LPM encourages the achievement of sustainable quality culture in universities.
