PENGARUH SELF-STIGMA DAN PUBLIC STIGMA TERHADAP HELP-SEEKING BEHAVIOR PADA MAHASISWA DENGAN TINGKAT KESEHATAN MENTAL RENDAH DI SAMARINDA

Abstract


Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh self-stigma dan public stigma terhadap help-seeking behavior pada mahasiswa dengan tingkat kesehatan mental rendah di Samarinda. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 119 mahasiswa. Penetapan sampel penelitian menggunakan purposive sampling. Data penelitian diperoleh menggunakan empat jenis skala yaitu Skala Kesehatan Mental, General Help-Seeking Questionnaire vignette Version, SelfStigma of Mental Illness Scale Short Form, dan Attribution Questionnaire. Data penelitian dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik Korelasi Spearman dengan bantuan SPSS 23 for Windows. Berdasarkan hasil analisis diketahui bahwa nilai self-stigma dan public stigma terhadap help-seeking behavior adalah p = 0,577 (p > 0,05) dan p = 0,269 (p > 0,05). Tidak ada pengaruh signifikan pada self-stigma terhadap Help-seeking behavior dan public stigma terhadap help-seeking behavior
