PENGARUH GRIT TERHADAP KETERIKATAN KERJA PADA KARYAWAN GENERASI MILENIAL

Abstract


Keterikatan kerja menjadi perhatian bagi dunia industri. Keterikatan kerja merupakan suatu keadaan pikiran yang positif terkait pekerjaan yang dicirikan dengan vigor, dedication, dan absorption. Keterikatan kerja pada penelitian ini dilihat dari sisi psikologi positif, sehingga peneliti tertarik untuk melihat peranan konsep psikologi positif seperti grit, yang merupakan konsep baru di Indonesia terhadap keterikatan kerja. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui secara empiris pengaruh grit terhadap keterikatan kerja pada karyawan generasi milenial. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini melibatkan 159 orang (N=159) generasi milenial (rentang usia dari 20-40 tahun) dengan masa kerja minimal satu tahun. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif, pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner yaitu Utrecht Work Engagement Scale (UWES) versi pendek berjumlah 9 aitem untuk keterikatan kerja dan skala grit versi pendek berjumlah 8 aitem. Penetapan sampel penelitian menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Data penelitian dianalisis menggunakan teknik regresi linear sederhana dengan bantuan program SPSS versi 25.0 for windows. Berdasarkan hasil analisis diketahui bahwa grit berpengaruh positif terhadap keterikatan kerja dengan nilai p = 0,001 (p < 0,05). Pengaruh grit terhadap keterikatan kerja ditunjukkan oleh nilai R2 sebesar 0,071, yang berarti bahwa variasi keterikatan kerja dipengaruhi oleh variabel grit sebesar 7,1%.
