PENGARUH WORK-LIFE BALANCE TERHADAP PSYCHOLOGICALL WELLBEING WANITA YANG BEKERJA

Abstract


Women in ancient times were always identified with a job that could only be done at home. Meanwhile, in 2019 the number of workforce based on bps experienced a significant increase, namely by 2.5% to 55.5% or as many as 75.57 million people. For a woman psychological well-being is very important, because it makes a woman feel satisfied and can maximize what is in her, develop the maximum potential that is in her. In this study, work-life balance is a factor examined for its ef ect on psychological well-being in working women. This study aims to determine the relationship between work-life balance and psychological well-being in working women. The hypothesis proposed is that there is an influence between work-life balance on psychological well-being of women who work. The subjects of this study were women who worked in the city of Samarinda aged 20-40 years. The measuring instrument used in this study was the psychological scale of well-being from Ryf (1995) totaling 18 items with a validity value of 0.484 - 0.687 and a reliability value of 0.750. The work-life balance scale from Fisher, Bulger, and Smith (2009), totaling 14 items with a validity of 0.405 - 0.762, and a reliability of 0.759. Hypothesis testing in this study uses simple linear regression analysis techniques using the SPSS 20 for windows program. The regression test results showed a positive correlation of the psychological variables, including well-being, with work-life balance, with a value of 0.629.
