PENGARUH PELATIHAN DAN KESEHATAN KESELAMATAN KERJA TERHADAP PRODUKTIVITAS KARYAWAN PADA PT UNITED TRACTORS SITE SANGATTA

Abstract

The company always tries to increase the work productivity of each employee in order to provide the best for the company. There are many ways that companies can do to support employee work productivity. One way that companies can increase employee productivity is by improving training programs and Occupational Health and Safety (K3). The objectives of this research are: 1) To determine and analyze the effect of training on employee productivity at the PT United Tractors site Sangatta. 2) To determine and analyze the influence of Occupational Health and Safety on employee productivity at the PT United Tractor site Sangatta. 3) To determine and analyze the influence of training and Occupational Health and Safety simultaneously on employee productivity at the PT United Tractors site Sangatta.

This research was conducted only on employees of PT United Tractors Site Sangatta. The sample taken was 86 respondents using the methodpurposive sampling. Data collection techniques use field research and library research. Data collection by distributing questionnaires with a Likert scale to measure each indicator. The analytical tool in this research uses multiple linear regression analysis.

The research results show that 1) Training has a significant effect on employee productivity at PT United Tractors Site Sangatta due to the training program provided by the company helps employees improve skills in completing work where the training material provided is in accordance with the aim of improving skills. 2) Occupational health and safety have a significant effect on employee productivity at PT United Tractors Site Sangatta because the company has provided K3 procedures such as the company providing PPE according to standards, dangerous objects are placed far from employee areas, first aid equipment is available and the company always socializes K3 procedures . 3) Training and Occupational Health and Safety simultaneously have a significant effect on employee productivity at PT United Tractors Site Sangatta because these two aspects create a productive, safe and efficient work environment for each employee.
