ANALISIS PENGENDALIAN PERSEDIAAN SEMEN PADA TOKO BANGUNAN WULAN JAYA SAMARINDA

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the control of cement inventory at the Wulan Jaya Samarinda Building Store in 2022.

The theory used in this study is about operational management, especially about inventory control. The analytical tools used are Economic Order Quantity (EOQ), Safety Stock, and Reorder point..

The results showed that Wulan Jaya Samarinda Building Store has not been optimal in order quantity, to order cement once in one year, which is 6 times, while according to the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method, the frequency of orders in one year is 1.3 times to procure inventory. By using the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method, wulan jaya samarinda building store can find out what is the optimal order amount that can save total inventory costs, find out the amount of security inventory and know when to place a reorder. Anticipate the occurrence of excess or lack of inventory so as to optimize inventory control.
