Pengaruh Kepemimpinan Dan Motivasi Kerja Terhadap Kinerja Karyawan Pada PT Telkom Akses Samarinda

Abstract


This study aims to determine and analyze the influence of leadership and work motivation on employee performance at PT Telkom Akses Samarinda. The theoretical basis used in this study includes leadership and motivation on performance.

This research was conducted on employees of PT Telkom Akses Samarinda, the population of this study was 194 respondents and a sample of 129 respondents was drawn using the Probability Sampling method with the Simple Random Sampling sampling technique. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires from Googleform using a Likert scale. The analysis tool used in this study is multiple linear regression using the SPSS version 25 statistical program tool.

The results of this study indicate that: 1) Leadership has a positive and significant effect on employee performance at PT Telkom Akses Samarinda with leaders being able to motivate, have a sense of responsibility, and be able to control subordinates, PT Telkom Akses has succeeded in improving its leadership. 2) Motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance at PT Telkom Akses Samarinda by providing opportunities to develop themselves and appreciation or praise from colleagues, superiors, and subordinates, PT Telkom has succeeded in motivating employees. 3) Together, leadership and motivation have a positive and significant effect on employee performance at PT Telkom Akses Samarinda. The findings of this study indicate that when leadership and motivation are carried out together, effective leadership combined with a good work motivation system can build a strong synergy that is formed in improving employee performance at PT Telkom Akses Samarinda
