ANALISIS MANAJEMEN RANTAI PASOK DALAM MENINGKATKAN STRATEGI KOMPETITIF PADA UMKM HIDROPONIK TANAMAN SELADA DI SAMARINDA UTARA

Abstract


Hydroponic lettuce UMKM in North Samarinda has not been able to meet consumer needs. One of the main challenges is to improve the competitive strategy of UMKM in the hydroponic sector in an increasingly tight market. In a competitive business environment, the role of supply chain management is key to helping UMKM optimize their operations and increase competitiveness. The purpose of this study is to determine and analyze the appropriate supply chain model for Hydroponic lettuce UMKM in North Samarinda. To determine and analyze the supply chain strategy implemented by Hydroponic lettuce UMKM in North Samarinda is able to compete with similar actors.

The theoretical basis of this study consists of operational management, supply chain and competitive strategy. Primary data collection techniques, namely by observation, and interviews. The analysis tool of this study uses interactive qualitative methods to analyze supply chain performance.

The results of this study where the supply chain flow of hydroponic lettuce UMKM in North Samarinda uses three supply chain models, model 1 starts from the producer, then the retailer, then sells to consumers, this model is used by Yunus Farm Hydroponic and Gria Farm Samarinda UMKM. The second model supply chain distribution channel uses one supplier, then continues to the UMKM then to the collector and finally to the end consumer, this supply chain model is used by Idham Hydroponic UMKM. The third model supply chain distribution channel uses 2 suppliers which are continued to the UMKM then to the collector then to the retailer to the end consumer, this supply chain model is used by four UMKM including Mujib Farm, Djoragan Hydroponic, Extraordinary Hydroponic and Hydroponic Garden "Teras Hydro Farm. The supply chain strategy used by hydroponic lettuce UMKM in North Samarinda must have more suppliers so that they can be more flexible in choosing the best supplier based on price, quality, and other factors, perhaps also with online ordering in order to increase production for farmers
