ANALISIS RASIO SOLVABILITAS UNTUK MENILAI KINERJA KEUANGAN PADA PT ADARO ENERGY INDONESIA TBK TAHUN 2020 - 2023

Abstract

Financial ratio analysis is a common method used in financial report analysis which is always used to measure the strengths or weaknesses faced by a company in the financial sector. There are several types of financial ratios, namely, liquidity ratios, solvency ratios, activity ratios and profitability ratios. One of the ratios for assessing financial performance is the solvency ratio. This research aims to determine and analyze the financial performance of PT Adaro Energy Indonesia Tbk in terms of the Solvency ratio as measured by Debt to Asset Ratio (DAR) and Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) in 2020 – 2023.

This research was conducted at PT Adaro Energy Indonesia Tbk and focused on financial performance analysis for 2020 - 2023. This research was conducted through the company's financial reports as measured by the Solvency ratio (debt to total asset ratio & debt to Equity Ratio) 2020 – 2023. The analytical tool used is ratio analysis debt to total asset ratio dan debt to Equity Ratio.

The research results show that 1) The financial performance of PT Adaro Energy Indonesia Tbk has increased as seen from the Solvency ratio as measured by Debt to Asset Ratio (DAR) in 2020 – 2023 because the company has periodically reduced the amount of debt and the company has made large investments in assets, such as purchasing fixed assets, expansion and acquisitions, thereby increasing the number of assets owned by the company. 2) The financial performance of PT Adaro Energy Indonesia Tbk has increased as seen from the Solvency ratio as measured by Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) in 2020 – 2023 because the company succeeded in increasing its equity, such as through the issuance of new shares, increasing retained earnings and accumulated net profit so that the company's equity increased without relying on debt.
