PENGARUH PROGRAM PELATIHAN DIGITALISASI DAN PENGEMBANGAN KARYAWAN TERHADAP PENINGKATAN KOMPETENSI PADA KANTOR DINAS KOMUNIKASI DAN INFORMATIKA KOTA SAMARINDA

Abstract


This study aims to determine and analyze: (1) the effect of digitalization training program on competency improvement at the Office of Communication and Information Technology of Samarinda City, (2) the effect of employee development on competency improvement, and (3) the effect of digitalization training program and employee development simultaneously on competency improvement. The theoretical basis used in this study includes human resource management, digitalization training, employee development, and increasing employee competence.

This research was conducted on employees of the Samarinda City Communication and Information Office with a sample size of 91 respondents, using saturated sampling techniques. Data collection was done through a questionnaire with a Likert scale to measure each variable indicator. The analysis method used in this research is multiple linear regression to see the effect of each variable on employee competence.

The results showed that: (1) digitalization training programs have a positive and significant effect on increasing competence, (2) employee development has a positive and significant effect on increasing competence, and (3) digitalization training programs and development together have a positive and significant effect on increasing employee competence.

These results indicate that increasing employee competence can be achieved by implementing effective digitalization training and sustainable employee development programs.
