PENGARUH MOTIVASI DAN KEPEMIMPINAN TERHADAP KINERJA KARYAWAN PT PENASCOP MARITIM INDONESIA CABANG SAMARINDA

Abstract


Employee performance is an inseparable part of the scope of the organization or company, and all parties involved in the company. Employee performance also plays an important role as a reference in assessing employee quality in order to retain employees who work in the company. There are various ways that can be done to improve employee performance, including motivation and leadership. This research aims to determine and analyze the influence of motivation and leadership partially or simultaneously on employee performance.

This research was conducted only on employees of PT Penascop Maritim Indonesia Samarinda Branch. The sample taken was 52 respondents using the sampling fed up method. Data collection techniques use field research and library research. Data collection by distributing questionnaires with a Likert scale to measure each indicator. The analytical tool in this research uses multiple linear regression analysis.

The results of the research show that 1) Motivation has a significant effect on the performance of employees of PT Penascop Maritim Indonesia Samarinda Branch. 2) Leadership has a significant effect on the performance of employees of PT Penascop Maritim Indonesia Samarinda Branch. 3) Motivation and Leadership together have a significant effect on employee performance at PT Penascop Maritim Indonesia Samarinda Branch.
