SEJARAH PENJAMINAN MUTU PENDIDIKAN TINGGI PERIODE 1960-1980

Abstract

The problem of the low quality of a nation's human resources is a manifestation of the inability of the quality assurance system to work effectively. The study of quality assurance in higher education in the period 1950-1970s was not as popular as it is today, but the basic concept of the importance of quality in education had begun to be pioneered. This era was characterised by ensuring minimum standards were achieved. Quality assurance emphasised aspects such as lecturer qualifications, physical facilities, and curriculum. It aims to ensure that students get a quality education through the provision of resources that focus on the inputs and processes of education, as well as efforts to ensure the availability of adequate educational facilities and infrastructure.
