Author Guidelines

Specific Information

Article should be written in English or Bahasa Indonesia. The length of submitted paper is at least 10 pages and no more than 17 pages in A4 (210x297 mm) paper. The article should be without any page numbering and composed as follows: Abstract, Introduction, Method, Result and Discussion, Conclusion, Acknowledgements (if any), and Bibliography.

Article begins with title using font Corbel 16 pt Capitalize Each Word format. Name of the author written under the title using font 6pt pt without any academic degree. Apostrophe put behind the name of the author using superscript format. The name of the institution (name of the institution, address, phone number, fax number, and e-mail) written under the name of the author using Corbel 11pt. Should there are more than one author, please add the e-mail address of the corresponding author. The title of the article, name of the author and name of the institution written in the center of the field.

Abstract

Abstract should be written in English, ranging between 150-200 words. The abstract is written using Corbel font 10 pt in a single column format. Keywords are written below the text of the abstract and separated by comma. Keywords should be written using Constantia font 10pt.

Content

Content of the article should be written left aligned with the left margin 2.5 cm, right margin 2.0 cm, bottom margin 2.0 cm and top margin 2.0 cm. The article should be written using MS Word using Corbel using 12 pt font, 1 space and in a single column format. Each article should be no more than 17 pages and minimum 10 pages (including pictures and tables) justified.

Heading

Headings, or heads, are organizational devices that guide the reader through your paper. There are two types: component heads and text heads. Component heads identify the different components of your paper and are not topically subordinate to each other. Text heads organize the topics on a relational, hierarchical basis.

Pictures and Tables

Pictures and tables placed in a text with description. Pictures and tables is followed by the title of the picture placed just below the picture and the title of the table placed above the table. The title of the table and picture should be numbered. The picture should be able to be clearly printed. Pictures or diagrams/ schemes placed in the text or if the picture is too big, it can be placed in the middle of the page. The picture should not be framed.

Equation

Equation should be written center aligned and numbered in the brackets. The numbers placed at the end of the right margin of the column.

Quotation

Quotation writing of an article should be written using APA system. The template will number citations consecutively.

Unless there are six authors or more give all authors names; do not use et al.. Papers that have not been published, even if they have been submitted for publication, should be cited as unpublished. Papers that have been accepted for publication should be cited as in press.

Citation should be written in reference part. Every cited reference should be written completely in reference part. Unpublished reference is not suggested to be cited in article. Reference should be written according to the format of reference. This journal requires 80% of reference cited from national and international journal. Please use reference tools like MendeleyEndNote, etc.

One author should be designated as corresponding author and provide the following information:

  • E-mail address
  • Full postal address
  • Telephone and fax numbers

Please note that any papers which fail to meet our requirements will be returned to the author for amendment. Only papers which are submitted in the correct style will be considered by the Editors.

 

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.

  2. Author’s Warranties

    The author warrants that the article is original, written by stated author(s), has not been published before, contains no unlawful statements, does not infringe the rights of others, is subject to copyright that is vested exclusively in the author and free of any third party rights, and that any necessary written permissions to quote from other sources have been obtained by the author(s).

  3. User Rights

    PREDIKSI spirit is to disseminate articles published are as free as possible. Under the Creative Commons license, PREDIKSI permits users to copy, distribute, display, and perform the work for non-commercial purposes only. Users will also need to attribute authors and PREDIKSI on distributing works in the journal.

  4. Rights of Authors

    Authors retain the following rights:

    • Copyright, and other proprietary rights relating to the article, such as patent rights,
    • The right to use the substance of the article in future own works, including lectures and books,
    • The right to reproduce the article for own purposes, provided the copies are not offered for sale,
    • The right to self-archive the article.
  5. Co-Authorship

    If the article was jointly prepared by other authors, the signatory of this form warrants that he/she has been authorized by all co-authors to sign this agreement on their behalf, and agrees to inform his/her co-authors of the terms of this agreement.

  6. Termination

    This agreement can be terminated by the author or PREDIKSI upon two months’ notice where the other party has materially breached this agreement and failed to remedy such breach within a month of being given the terminating party’s notice requesting such breach to be remedied. No breach or violation of this agreement will cause this agreement or any license granted in it to terminate automatically or affect the definition of Psikostudia: Jurnal Psikologi. 

  7. Royalties

    This agreement entitles the author to no royalties or other fees. To such extent as legally permissible, the author waives his or her right to collect royalties relative to the article in respect of any use of the article by PREDIKSI or its sublicensee.

  8. Miscellaneous

    PREDIKSI will publish the article (or have it published) in the journal if the article’s editorial process is successfully completed and PREDIKSI or its sublicensee has become obligated to have the article published. Psikostudia: Jurnal Psikologi may conform the article to a style of punctuation, spelling, capitalization, referencing and usage that it deems appropriate. The author acknowledges that the article may be published so that it will be publicly accessible and such access will be free of charge for the readers.

The names and email addresses entered in this journal site will be used exclusively for the stated purposes of this journal and will not be made available for any other purpose or to any other party.
