Author Guidelines

PAIS UNDA Journal Author Guidelines

All manuscripts must be submitted to Agrifor Editorial Office or Online Submission at OJS portal address: , where author register as Author by online. If authors have any problems on the online submission, please contact Editor in Chief at the following email: indah@untag-smd.ac.id or phone number/WA: +6282250640203


The following terms can be used by the author to publish the manuscript in the PAIS UNDA Journal:
1. Originality of the Manuscript

  • Manuscripts submitted to the editorial team of the PAIS UNDA Journal are original works and have never been published.
  • Manuscripts are not under consideration by another publishers.
  • Manuscripts that are in the process of publishing are not submitted to other publishers.
  • The author lists all names that contributed to the writing of the article.
  • Manuscripts submitted by authors have received approval from all contributors.
  • If there is a dispute related to a published manuscript, it is the responsibility of the author to resolve it.
  1. The format of the manuscript
  • The was written in accordance with the style of the environment as contained in the provisions and guidelines of the author (download author guidelines here).
  • Manuscripts are arranged in order: Title, authorship (author, agency and address, email address) Abstract and Keywords (English), Abstract and keywords (Indonesian), Introduction, Research Methods, Results and Discussion, Conclusion, Acknowledgments (if any), and bibliography, manuscripts according to the writing procedures as in the manuscript template (download the template here).
  • The title is composed of a maximum of 14 words, not including conjunctions. The title must be specific, concise, informative, and able to describe the entire contents of the script.
  • Abstract / Abstract
    Abstract in Indonesian and English. Contains briefly the research background, research objectives, research methods used and conclusions. Give one or two sentences to discuss the findings. Abstracts are made in Indonesian and English, not more than 250 words without references and followed by keywords (no more than five words or phrases arranged alphabetically with capital letters at the beginning of the word).
  •  Introduction
    Contains the background that underlies the research and mentions previous research that has been carried out, the research objectives, framework and brief literature, and the approach used in relation to the problem under study.
  • Materials and Methods
    Describe in detail and clearly but concisely the location and time of the study, the tools and materials used. The method used is written clearly and systematically, including about statistical or research designs. This allows other researchers who will re-examine with a broader study to do it in a relatively similar way.
  • Results and Discussion
    Results should be clear and concise. Do not present the same data in both table and graphic and image format, it must be numbered and described in text. The title of the table is written in Indonesian and placed on the table, while graphics and pictures are placed under it. The discussion is structured by highlighting the results of research that have received broad attention, explaining their meaning, comparing them with other research results to provide direction for further research.
  • Conclusion
    The main conclusions of the research can be presented in a short Conclusion section, which can stand alone or form a subsection of the Results and Discussion section and are not numbered but in the form of paragraphs.
  • Acknowledgments
    Acknowledgments are a list of people who provided assistance during the research (for example, providing language assistance, writing assistance or proof of reading the article, source of grants, etc.) if available
  • Bibliography
    Bibliography is all publications during the last 10 years in the form of text books, journals and others. References 80% are scientific journals and are not anonymous. Arranged alphabetically by author's name, mentioning title, publisher, city, volume, publication number. Any libraries that are used must appear in text.

 

Literature writing uses an internationally accepted article writing system (last name as entry).

 -   Examples of reference citations are as follows:

In the text, the library should be written as follows:
- One author:
          "(Name, year)" or "name (year)"
          … (Prihmantoro, 1999)… or… Prihmantoro (1999)…

- Two authors:
          Steel and Torrie. (1991) statistics… or… (Steel & Torrie, 1991)…

- Three or more authors:
          …. (Kernis et al., 1993)… or… (Kernis et al., 1993)…
          Kernis et al. (1993) example… Kernes et al. (1993)…

Use et al. for Indonesian language libraries and et al. For foreign language libraries.

-   If the references have the same year, place them in alphabetical order.

-   For works by the same author in the same year, add a lowercase letter a, b, c, to the year of publication.

 

  • For libraries from books:

Prihmantoro,  H. (1999). Memupuk tanaman sayur. Jakarta: Penebar Swadaya.

  • Chapters of a book / article in proceedings, only the initial capital letters:

    Last name, abbreviation (initials) first name and middle name (if any). (year). Thesis title, thesis, dissertation. Thesis, Thesis, Dissertation (italics). Study Program and / or College. The city where the college is located.

  • The citations in the bibliography are written using the APA (American Psychological Association) format, it is recommended that the authors use a reference manager such as: mendeley.

 

  • Figures and tables

-   Tables do not use vertical lines and horizontal lines are adjusted as needed.

-   The displayed image must be clear enough to facilitate the reader if necessary an   original image

  • Manuscript copyright is held by the author.

 

 

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
