ANALISIS PERBANDINGAN KINERJA KEUANGAN SEBELUM DAN SESUDAH IPO (INITIAL PUBLIC OFFERING) TAHUN 2020 PADA PERUSAHAAN SEKTOR FINANCE YANG TERDAFTAR DI BEI (BURSA EFEK INDONESIA)

Abstract

         Comparative Analysis of Financial Performance Before and After IPO (Initial Public Offering) in 2020 in Finance Sector Companies Listed on the IDX (Indonesia Stock Exchange). Initial Public Offering is the process by which a company becomes public, meaning that the company sells some of its shares for the first time to the public so that the public can own them. The purpose of conducting an IPO is to increase capital and increase company value. The company's financial performance between before and after the IPO produces mixed results, some companies experience an increase and decrease in financial performance.

           This study aims to determine and analyze financial performance before and after conducting IPOs in finance sector companies in the bank sub-sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange through bank financial ratios as measured by Quick Ratio, Cash Ratio, Primary Ratio, Risk Assets Ratio, Net Profit Margin and Return On Equity.

           The results showed that the company's financial performance increased after the IPO as measured by Quick Ratio, Cash Ratio, Primary Ratio, Risk Assets Ratio and Net Profit Margin. While the company's financial performance as measured by Return On Equity has decreased after the IPO
