PENGARUH SHIFT KERJA DAN BEBAN KERJA TERHADAP KINERJA OPERASIONAL PEKERJA PT BUMA JOBSITE IBP

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of work shifts and workload on the operational performance of workers at PT Buma Jobsite IBP. The basic theory used in this study includes work shifts and workload on operational performance.

This research was conducted at PT Buma Jobsite IBP which is located at Loa Janan KM 11, Kutai Kartanegara Regency, East Kalimantan. The population of this study was 190 and the sample taken was 127 respondents usingtable determining sample size for research activies, Recruitment techniques usingsimple random sampling. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires from googleform. The analytical tool used in this study is multiple linear regression using the SPSS statistical program.

The results of this study indicate that 1) work shifts have a significant effect on the operational performance of PT Buma Jobsite IBP workers, thus if the work shift is increased, the operational performance of PT Buma Jobsite IBP is also increasing. 2) workload has a significant effect on the operational performance of PT Buma Jobsite IBP workers. Thus, if the workload is increased, the operational performance of PT Buma Jobsite IBP is also increasing. 3) work shifts and workload have a significant influence on operational performance. Thus if work shifts and workload are increased together, the operational performance of PT BumaJobsite IBP is also increasing.
