Abstract


ABSTRACT

This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of work motivation and work discipline on the performance of employees of PT Indotrans Sejahtera in Samarinda and to determine and analyze the effect of work motivation and work discipline together on the performance of employees of PT Indotrans Sejahtera in Samarinda. The theoretical basis used in this study includes work motivation and work discipline on employee performance.

Primary data collection techniques. Primary data in this study were obtained from interviews conducted by conducting questions and answers with the company and questionnaires filled out by respondents directly. The analytical tool techniques used are validity test, reliability test, normality test, linearity test, multicolonearity test, heteroscedasticity test, multiple linear regression test, t test, F test, and determination coefficient (R2). The results of this study indicate that 1) Work motivation has a significant effect on the performance of employees of PT Indotrans Sejahtera in Samarinda. 2) Work discipline has a significant effect on the performance of employees of PT Indotrans Sejahtera in Samarinda. 3) Work motivation and work discipline together have a significant effect on the performance of employees of PT Indotrans Sejahtera in Samarinda. This means that if work motivation and work discipline are improved together, the performance of PT Indotrans Sejahtera employees in Samarinda will also increase.
