ANALISIS DU PONT SYSTEM DAN KINERJA KEUANGAN PT TIMAH (PERSERO) TBK PERIODE 2017 - 2021

Abstract

PT Timah is a producer and exporter of tin metal, and has an integrated tin mining business segment starting from exploration, mining, processing to marketing.

The purpose of this research is to analyze the financial performance of PT. Timah (Persero) Tbk using the Du pont system in terms of ROI from 2017-2021. The basic theory used in this study is financial management with ROI analysis tools through the Du pont system approach

Research result. PT. Timah (Persero) Tbk using the Du pont system in terms of ROI from 2017-2018 has decreased. The decrease was due to the decrease in net profit margin and total asset turnover, so the hypothesis was rejected. PT. Timah (Persero) Tbk using the Du pont system in terms of ROI from 2018-2019 has decreased. The decrease was caused by a decrease in net profit margin and an increase in total asset turnover, so the hypothesis was rejected. PT. Timah (Persero) Tbk using the Du pont system in terms of ROI from 2019- 2020 has decreased. The decrease was caused by a decrease in net profit margin and an increase in total asset turnover, so the hypothesis was rejected. PT. Timah (Persero) Tbk using the Du pont system in terms of ROI from 2020-2021 has increased. The increase is caused by the increase in net profit margin and the decrease in total asset turnover, so the hypothesis is accepted.
