PENGARUH PENERAPAN TOTAL QUALITY MANAGEMENT (TQM) TERHADAP KINERJA KARYAWAN PT.UJUNG PANDANG PERKASA (STUDI PADA PT UJUNG PANDANG PERKASA)
Abstract
This study aims to find out the variables that affect employee performance consisting of customer focus, employee empowerment, and continuous quality improvement at PT Ujung Pandang Perkasa. The theoretical basis used is the foundation of operational management theory related to creating, operating, and controlling a transformation system that takes input from various resources and produces the output of goods and services needed by customers.
The research method used in this study is a quantitative research method. The population in this study is employees of PT Ujung Pandang Perkasa. The data collection technique is by questionnaire. The sampling technique used in this study was a purposive sampling using 30 respondents of PT Ujung Pandang Perkasa employees. The analysis tools used are multiple linear regression analysis, validity and reliability test, classical assumption test, t-test and F-test. Testing was carried out with the help of the SPSS application version 25.0 for windows.
The results of the study showed that the results of the t-test on the customer focus variable had a significant effect on employee performance. The variable of employee empowerment has a significant effect on employee performance, and the variable of continuous quality improvement has a significant effect on employee performance. Based on the results of the F test, it shows that all independent variables simultaneously have a significant effect on the performance of PT Ujung Pandang Perkasa employees.Keywords
