Pengaruh Lingkungan Kampus Terhadap Motivasi Belajar Mahasiswa Universitas 17 Agustus 1945 Samarinda

Abstract


This research aims to evaluate the influence of the campus environment on student learning motivation at the University of 17 August 1945 Samarinda..  Campus environmental factors observed include class size, campus facilities, and relationships between students and lecturers. This research uses a simple linear regression analysis method with 54 respondents from the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of 17 August 1945 Samarinda for the 2022 academic year. The results of the research show that the campus environment has a significant influence on student learning motivation (R Square = 24.5%). Factors that have a significant influence are class size, campus facilities, and relationships between students and lecturers. The results of the ANOVA analysis confirm that there are significant differences in student learning motivation between groups with different campus environments. In the linear regression analysis, each campus environmental factor (class size, campus facilities, and relationships between students and lecturers) has a positive influence on student learning motivation. These findings are in line with Gagne's theory of learning motivation which identifies internal and external factors that influence learning motivation.
