Abstract

The large amounts of sexual harassment cases and the emergence of self-blame in its victims make it urgent to conduct research in this regard.  This research is important to do so as not to elargexacerbate the negative impact of self-blame on the victims. The research method used in this study is a quantitative research method. The sampling technique used in this research is the incidental sampling technique. The measuring instrument used in this research is the Rape Attribution Questionnaire (RAQ) by Frazier (2002) which was first translated into Indonesian and the scale of perception of patriarchal culture. Data analysis was carried out using the Spearman Rho test with the results of r = 0.013 and a significance of 0.899 so the hypothesis was rejected. The conclusion of this study is that there is no significant correlation between perceptions of patriarchal culture and self-blame behavior on victims of harassment.
